Thank you for your interest in the 6th annual Baytown Area Pink Heals Event & Family Fun Run. All funds raised at our event are maintained locally through a patient assistance fund at Houston Methodist San Jacinto Cancer Center and are made available to assist qualifying patients in our community with financial expenses during their cancer treatment. Please come out and support our cancer community through your participation in our Family Fun Run. In addition to the run cancer survivors and/or family members will have the opportunity to sign the pink fire trucks travelling nationwide with the Pink Heals Tour. The mission of the Pink Heals Tour (a group of firemen that drive pink fire trucks across the country) is to promote awareness and to improve the lives of all people affected by cancer in our community. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people participate in the fund-raising events of the Pink Heals Tour. These events are a fun way for Americans across the country to make a difference in their local community by increasing awareness of cancer, while at the same time raising thousands of dollars to support those in the fight against this disease. Unlike other cancer fundraising events, all proceeds of the Baytown Area Pink Heals Event are kept locally and used to directly assist patients with financial needs while undergoing cancer treatment.
